Adding Social Links and Posts to BioSites

Create links to your social media accounts and engage your audience by sharing social media content directly to your BioSite.

Social Links create an icon so your BioSite visitors find you on different platforms. Additionally, Social posts enable you to embed specific content, such as a video or an Instagram post, directly onto your Bio Site. Together, these features ensure visitors can discover your content and follow you across all of your platforms. 

To embed your entire social media feed, visit Managing Bio Site sections. 

Add a Social Link

Social Links enable visitors to access your external social media profiles by clicking on a recognizable icon displayed on your Bio Site. Ensure the link provided is the main profile URL. Linking to specific content can result in an error message. 

Web

To add a Social Link to your Bio Site using the web editor: 

1. In the left navigation menu, click to open the Sections panel. 
2. Under Content, click Social Links. 
3. Select the icon for the platform you want to share. 

4. Enter the URL of your account from the platform you're sharing. 

   Tip: When adding a social link for any platform, copy your profile link or social media handle. Click Update to confirm your changes.

5. Click Update to confirm your changes.

App

To add a Social Link to your Bio Site in the Unfold app: 

1. In the Unfold app, tap the Bio Sites tab. 
2. Select the Bio Site. 
3. Tap Sections. 
4. Tap Social, and choose the icon for the platform you want to share. 
5. Paste the URL of your account, and tap ✓. 
6. Tap Update to confirm your changes.

Add a Social Post

Social Posts enable you to embed specific pieces of content directly into your Bio Site. This means visitors can view your content without navigating away from your Bio Site. From your device, you’ll want to copy the URL of the social post you want to share. You'll paste this link in the Social Links section. 

Web

To add a Social Post to your Bio Site using the web editor: 

1. In the left navigation menu, click to open the Sections panel. 
2. Under Content, click Social Links. Paste the URL of the content you'd like to share. 
3. Optional: add a note. 
4. Click Update to confirm your changes. 

App

To add a Social Post to your Bio Site in the Unfold app: 

1. In the Unfold app, tap the Bio Sites tab. 
2. Select the Bio Site. 
3. Tap Sections. 
4. Tap Social, paste the URL of the content you'd like to share, and then tap ✓. 
5. Tap Update to confirm your changes. 

Tip: If you see an error message, it likely means the URL is incorrect for the content you're trying to share. You can get the correct URL by using the Share option on your social platform to copy the link.
