Manage your Bio Site

Manage how people view or access your Bio Site.

Use this guide to learn how to use the web editor to change your Bio Site's visibility or language, edit the URL, or delete it.

Edit your URL or change ‌visibility

Web

To edit your URL or change the visibility of your Bio Site using the web editor:

1. In the left navigation menu, click to open the Profile panel.
2. Under Site click your URL.
3. Enter a new URL and select either: 
   • Public: to make your Bio Site searchable on the web.
   • Private: to make your Bio Site published but only visible to you.
4. Click Save to confirm your changes.

App

To edit your URL or change the visibility of your Bio Site in the Unfold app:

1. Tap the Bio Sites tab.
2. Tap the Bio Site you wish to change the visibility of.
3. In the top-right corner, tap the black link icon.
4. Enter a new URL, then tap ✓.
5. Tap Visibility and select either:

• Public to make your Bio Site searchable on the web.
• Private to make your Bio Site published but only visible to you.

5. Tap Update to confirm your changes.

Forward a Squarespace Domain to your Bio Site

You can forward a domain you own through Squarespace directly to your Bio Site. Visitors can reach your Bio Site by typing your custom domain into their browser.

Switch between Bio Sites

You can create more than one Bio Site ‌in the web editor only. To switch between Bio Sites in the web editor:

1. In the left navigation menu, click to open the Settings panel.
2. Click the name of the Bio Site you want to open.

Bio Sites languages

Only the Bio Sites web editor supports changing the account language. The account language is what appears when you log in and edit your site. Supported languages differ from those supported by Squarespace, and include English, Portuguese, German, Italian, Spanish, Japanese, French, Indonesian, Russian, Turkish, and Chinese. 

To change your account language using the web editor:

1. In the left navigation menu, click to open the Settings panel.
2. Click Language.
3. Select a language from the drop-down menu, then click Save.

Delete your Bio Site

Web

To delete your Bio Site in the web editor:

1. In the left navigation menu, click to open the Settings panel.
2. Click … next to the Bio Site you want to delete..
3. Click Delete Site.
4. Click Delete again to confirm you wish to delete your Bio Site. It’s not possible to undo this action, but you can always create another Bio Site from scratch.

App

To delete your Bio Site in the Unfold app:

1. Tap the Bio Sites tab.
2. Tap … at the bottom of your Bio Site.
3. Select Delete.
4. Tap Delete again to confirm you wish to delete your Bio Site. It’s not possible to undo this action, but you can always create another Bio Site from scratch.
